Diaconate

The Diaconate, a body composed of six Deacons, holds responsibility to assist the Minister to meet the worship and spiritual needs of the church.  In practice this means helping with the nuts and bolts of weekly worship; planning for the special liturgical events throughout the church year, finding fill-in for times when the Minister is away; monitoring the pastoral needs of the membership and helping the Minister to meet those needs. The Diaconate also maintains membership rolls and helps with adult education. In short, what you see and experience when you walk into our sanctuary for any worship service is brought to you by the Diaconate.
